With breathtaking lake and mountain views, the lodge has been lovingly restored and maintains its original and delightful charm, with modern facilities. The interior still includes the original oak paneling with rimu battening, polished timber floors and a number of unique architectural and design features of its era.
Hotel Facilities
There is a guest library with open fire, tea/coffee, nibbles, reference library, games and a computer, a patio with BBQ facilities, guest mountain bikes, laundry facilities and local activity bookings. Complimentary WiFi internet access property wide, there is a guest computer in the lounge, own device required elsewhere. Guests may leave their suitcases and rental car at the Lodge if away on an overnight cruise.

Times have certainly changed since the nuns walked these floors, and the variety of different rooms have been brought up to modern levels of comfort and standard whilst retaining their original charm. Every bedroom is fitted with radiator heating, internet ports, night lights, woolen duvets and luggage racks and in each bathroom there is an abundance of warmth, with underfloor heating in the tiled bathrooms.
