Hulbert House is a beautifully restored Victorian villa dating back to 1888. Steeped in authentic history, offering you a distinctive combination of historic elegance and contemporary service. Situated one block from Queenstown's vibrant central city, Hulbert House is imbued with a sense of serenity. The six uniquely designed suites all offer stunning views overlooking Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables or the Skyline Hill.

Each of the stunning suites has it's own independent character and each is named after a prominent individual in the Homesteads history; from the Boult Suite named after Philip Burbage Boult who was granted the land in 1876 to the Firth Suite named after Horatio Nelson Firth, whose family lived here between 1889 and 1901 at which point Firth was sent to prison for embezzlement.

Room Facilities

The six suites, each with their own unique decor, offer stunning views overlooking Lake Wakatipu or the Skyline Hill.  Hulbert House offers two categories of suites; Grand Suites which offer Lake Views and Premium Suites which offer views of the gardens and mountains.  Grand Suites are both located on the ground floor, while the Premium Suites are on the ground floor and level one.

All beds are super king and able to be split into twin. * All rooms have water fed gas radiators and warm air ducting. * Triple glazing. * Wool carpet throughout Hulbert House was designed and made especially. * Small commercial coffee grinder with freshly roasted beans, Harney and Sons fine teas and Royal Albert anniversary cup saucer and plate.
* Tivoli bluetooth clock radio. * Towelling and bathrooms are luxury Egyptian cotton. * Hungarian goose down duvets. * Black and white prints from the Arrowtown Museum feature throughout the building depicting Queenstown in the Victorian era.
