En route (if time permits) a stop is made at the Parry Kauri Park to view a magnificent stand of NZ native Kauri Trees. On arrival at the Bay of Islands, visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds where Maori and Europeans came together to sign a treaty of understanding formalizing New Zealand´s future as part of the British Empire. Continue by boat across the bay to Russell, NZs first centre of government. Enjoy a drive by mini coach with commentary by your driver through and around this quaint little township. Transfer to your Hotel.

Day 2:  Cape Reinga
Travel to Cape Reinga, at the top of the North Island in air conditioned luxury aboard a purpose built coach. During the journey travel along 90 Mile Beach, NZ's longest. Spectacular scenery all the way and a chance to see marine life in their natural environment in this isolated area. A picnic style lunch is included on this day.

Day 3: Cruise and return to Auckland
Transfer to Paihia wharf to board a high speed catamaran for a cruise via the Bay of Islands to the famous Hole-in-the-Rock on Piercy Island. The hole is large enough for the boat to sail through (subject to weather conditions) and also rich in marine life. Whales, Dolphins and hundreds of Sea Birds diving on huge shoals of fish are often seen during the trip. Informative commentary and a visit to Urapukapuka Island are also included before returning to Paihia. Afternoon at leisure before joining your coach back to Auckland, arriving at approx 8 pm.
