Peninsula Encounters Tour

6hrs including Monarch Wildlife Cruise

Price from £77 per person

An Elm Wildlife Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to the Dunedin Visitor Centre, 48 The Octagon, Dunedin, the departure point of your tour. Join your coach to commence a Peninsula Encounters Tour combined with a Monarch Wildlife Cruise. This is the ultimate Otago Peninsula tour - a memorable wildlife experience with a unique insight into some of the world's rarest wildlife. Travel the length and breadth of the Otago Peninsula: one of the world's few untouched areas, with amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery. This wildlife trek enables close, secluded viewing of the unique and world-renowned wildlife living on the Peninsula. In addition to the 15 – 20 species of marine and wading birds, the main 'stars' you will see include the Royal Albatross, Hookers Sealions, Blue Penguins, New Zealand Fur Seals and Yellow Eyed Penguins. The Elm Wildlife tour guide will then deliver clients to Weller's Rock Wharf for a Monarch Wildlife Cruise. Travel by boat out on the open ocean to a point below the Taiaroa Head Albatross Colony for a unique view of these magnificent birds from the water. Afterwards, rejoin the Elm Wildlife tour guide for the remainder of the Peninsula Encounters Tour. Tour concludes approximately 6 hours after commencement, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
