Part of an historic high country sheep station, this property offers a unique country atmosphere, access to a number of activities, views of Mount Cook and surrounds and unique fauna. Omahau is a 188 hectare (470 acre) farm that currently grazes merino sheep and a few cattle. The New Zealand falcon and Australasian harrier are common on the surrounding hills, while the Twizel River running through the property is a popular fishing haven. Guests are welcome to take an evening walk across the farm to the river.
