The wooden bungalows are free standing with en-suite bathrooms and private patios. They have been constructed separately from each other and the main homestead within the gardens. The homestead is used by guests as an extension to their room; there are no telephones in the rooms, however a cordless telephone, fax, email and message service and tea and coffee making facilities are available in the homestead. Television and mobile phone coverage is not available due to location and unavailable transmission.

How to get there:
Arrive at Mungumby Lodge by scheduled flight (40 minutes) or 4WD transfers (6 hours) from Cairns to Cooktown, private charter flight (30 minutes) from Cairns to Helenvale, or by self drive rental car (3.5 hours) from Cairns. Scheduled flight, charter flight and 4WD transfer prices available on request.
Complimentary transfers are available from either Helenvale airstrip, Mungumby Road or Lions Den Hotel to the lodge.
