The village itself is surrounded by several thousand hectares of state forest. Walking tracks through the forest alongside rivers, lakes and waterfalls yield frequent encounters with an abundance of Australian animals including wallabies, wombats, possums and platypus.

Offering 3 styles of accommodation. The Lodge Rooms are part of the original homestead of the property. Adjacent to these rooms is a spacious guest lounge with open fire place, billiard table, games, books and magazines.  
  
The Waterfront Rooms have balconies overlooking the foreshore of Lake Daylesford with king or twin beds, fold out sofa bed and easy chair. Each room has a contemporary ensuite which includes dual shower and heated floor tiles.  
  
The Waterfront Suites are spacious and luxurious with private balconies or terraces overlooking the lagoon and Lake Daylesford beyond. Each room is furnished with contemporary interiors, double spa bath, heated bathroom floor and walk in wardrobes.
