Day 1: Alice Springs to Ayers Rock (NM)
Travel south from Alice Springs on the Stuart Highway and stop for a camel ride and refreshments at Stuarts Well. At Erldunda turn onto the Lasseter Highway, passing through Mt Ebenezer and Curtin Springs on the way to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort. Spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying the extensive facilities.
Two nights: Voyages Sails in the Desert Hotel, Ayers Rock Resort
Day 2: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park (NM)
This morning explore Uluru. Take a scenic flight or Harley-Davidson ride at sunrise, join a guided tour of the base or visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn more about the landscape from the perspective of its traditional Aboriginal owners. This afternoon visit Kata Tjuta and enjoy the changing colours of Uluru at sunset.
Day 3: Ayers Rock to Kings Canyon (NM)
Depart Ayers Rock and drive along the Lasseter Highway and Luritja Road to the Watarrka National Park. For the energetic, the 300 metre sheer cliff faces of Kings Canyon make the view from the rim breathtaking, although there are easier walks along the boulder strewn canyon floor.
Overnight: Voyages Kings Canyon Resort
Day 4: Kings Canyon to Alice Springs (NM)
Head back along Luritja Road to the Lasseter Highway, and return to Alice Springs via the Stuart Highway. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the spectacular gorges of the West MacDonnell Ranges.
