The Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine reserve at Cathedral Cove offers sensational glass bottom viewing with it's diverse range of marine life and topography. Watch in awe as the snapper at Gemstone Bay swim right past the glass. As you cruise over the amazing kelp forests the guides will help spot fish such as red moki, triggerfish, angelfish, marblefish, parore and stunning schools of blue mao mao. Don't forget to keep an eye out for crayfish and stingrays cruising around or lazing under overhangs!

Seafari II is an aluminium pontoon boat fitted with 2 glass bottom viewing windows and a fully enclosed cabin. This trip out to Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve allows you to view the abundant fish life up close and in their natural habitat through the boat’s glass bottom. Snorkelling is also a big favourite, with all the equipment supplied. Experience the amazing marine wildlife including blue penguins and NZ fur seals. If it’s dolphins you like then Seafari ll has a marine mammal watch permit. Take in the breathtaking scenery of the world famous Cathedral Cove and visit spectacular Orua Cave. Tour concludes approximately 2 hours after commencement, back at Whitianga Wharf or at Ferry Landing.
