Dolphin Swimming

2-4 Hours

Price from £89 per person

Board your Dolphin Watch Ecotours vessel to commence a morning Dolphin Swimming cruise. Join highly qualified staff and help search for dusky dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and common dolphins as well as the rare Hector's dolphins that frequent the majestic and sheltered waters of the Marlborough Sounds. Whether it's watching a group quietly cruising along or marvelling at their high leaps, back-flips, somersaults and side-slaps during social bouts, dolphins are sure to please all. The opportunity to view dolphins in the wild is an unforgettable and unique experience. During this scenic wildlife tour, passengers are also likely to see New Zealand fur seals, a variety of seabirds (such as gannets, shearwaters and penguins) and may even be fortunate enough to encounter Orca or other migrating whales. Once spotted, the vessel cruises with the dolphins, and swimmers get themselves ready. If conditions are right, swimmers are placed in the water for the adventure of a lifetime! After swimming, participants can indulge in a hot deck shower to warm up before enjoying a tea, coffee or hot chocolate with a cookie.
