Dolphin Encounter - Spectator

3.5 hours

Price from £55 per person

For those wishing to enhance their understanding of dolphins in their natural environment, this is a truly unique experience. All vessels are purpose built for the comfort of passengers and have adequate covered areas out of the weather. This is the opportunity to go out and watch the dusky dolphins at play and gain wonderful views of these spectacular and acrobatic mammals. As well as this, participants can witness any interaction between the dolphins and swimmers, who are on the same boat. Other marine mammals such as orca (killer whales), pilot whales, New Zealand fur seals, and Hector’s dolphins are sometimes also seen and a complete guided commentary is given throughout the trip. Trips take place in the open ocean, which is subject to elements of sea swell (and occasionally 'wind chop') and wind. Due to the unpredictable motion of the vessel, passengers must be confident that they will be able to maintain their balance whilst onboard the vessel.
