Emirates are now only operating the A380 superjumbo and B777 aircraft.
Emirates from the UK
Emirates operate an extensive network of flights from UK airports to Dubai that offer onward connections to both Australia and New Zealand:
- 6 flights daily from London Heathrow All on A380 aircraft
- 4 flights daily from London Gatwick 3 on A380 aircraft
- 3 flights daily from Manchester All on A380 aircraft
- 3 flights daily from Birmingham 1 on A380 aircraft
- 2 flight daily from Glasgow
- 1 flight daily from Newcastle
From Dubai the following flights operate on a daily basis. All of these flights are now operated by A380 aircraft except where indicated below.
Sydney: 2 non-stop flights. 1 of these flights then continues to Christchurch. Also a flight via Bangkok to Sydney that continues on to Auckland.
Melbourne: 2 non-stop flights (1 on B777), 1 that continues on to Auckland. A 3rd flight operates via Singapore.
Brisbane: 1 non-stop flight that continues on to Auckland. A 2nd flight operates via Singapore on B777.
Adelaide: 1 non-stop flight on a B777
Perth: 2 non-stop flights
Auckland: 4 flights a day. 1 non-stop, 1 via Melbourne, 1 via Brisbane and 1 via Sydney & Bangkok
Christchurch: 1 flight a day via Sydney
On journeys from the UK to Australia and New Zealand on the Emirates/Qantas network stopovers are now possible in either direction in many points in Asia. As well as Dubai stops can be made in Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Tokyo and Shanghai.

In Business Class and First Class your seats can be booked at the time of reservation. In Economy Class once your flight has been ticketed seats can be pre-booked on some fare types. There will be a charge to pre-book seats on Special and Saver fares.

Chauffeur Drive is a complimentary airport transfer service offered by Emirates to First and Business ticketed customers travelling on eligible Emirates and Qantas international flights. Chauffeur Drive is available from the customer’s nominated pick-up location to the airport, from the airport to the customer’s final destination, and to and from the airport when making a stopover. The allowance from Heathrow is 70 miles but this may vary at other airports and destinations. Two transfers per return flight.
