Cathay Pacific, the Hong Kong based airline offers wonderful connections through to Australia and New Zealand, and now offer a direct connection to Fiji - flights from Hong Kong to Fiji will be operated by Air Pacific. Additionally Far North Queensland is connected directly to Hong Kong with services into Cairns.
Cathay Pacific from London Heathrow
With 4 daily flights to Hong Kong (Increases to 5 in June 2013) Cathay Pacific offers the most frequent service to this Far East destination. Utilising modern A340, B777 and B747 aircraft they offer a seamless and convenient connection to all destinations in Australasia. Daily onward flights to Auckland. Sydney has 3 daily flights and Melbourne also has 3 (1 operating via Adelaide). Adelaide and Perth each have a daily service. Queensland is well served with Brisbane receiving 11 flights a week and Cairns 6 (3 of which are direct and 3 via Brisbane). Cairns can therefore be reached with just one stop from London on Cathay Pacific.

New Economy Class
The first thing you'll notice about Cathay Pacific's new Economy Class is that your space really is your space. And then there's the total control you have of your entertainment with our new Audio and Video on Demand.
The fixed-back shell seat in our new Economy Class ensures that no one in front of you will ever intrude into your space again. The fixed-back design means that all seat movement is within a shell that doesn't move whether you're sitting upright or sleeping, so everyone has a protected personal space. And with a LEAP® Live BackTM upholstered seat, it's a very comfortable space, with smooth reclining and an adjustable headrest. So you can relax and enjoy your 9" widescreen TV with StudioCX - featuring a rotating library of 100 movies, 350 TV shows, 888 music CDs and 22 radio channels. You also enjoy a great selection of food and beverages. A variety of regional dishes as well as snack foods (such as ice cream and cup noodles) are available on selected flights. To go with the good food, many beverages such as oolong tea are served in the air. Of course, what makes our Economy Class so unique is the level of service provided by the staff - in the air and on the ground. And, perhaps most important of all, you will receive the warmest of all welcomes - dedicated service straight from the heart.
New Premium Economy
Cathay Pacific's new Premium Economy Service has now been incorportated into new B777-330 aircraft and is available on all flights on the London to Hong Kong route and all onward connecting flights to Australia. Onward flights to Auckland, at this stage, do not offer this service. This features a quieter, more spacious cabin with between 26 and 34 seats per aircraft. The seat pitch is 38 inches - 6 inches more than Economy Class - and the seat is wider and has a bigger recline. It has a large meal table, cocktail table, footrest, 10.6 inch personal TV screen, in-seat power, multi-port connector and extra personal storage space. You will have access to priority check-in, priority boarding and an increase in baggage allowence (from 20kg to 25kg).
New Business Class
Cathay Pacific's new Business Class makes flying a pleasure. Relax in a comfortable seat with massage function and easy access to the aisle. Enjoy more entertainment choices than ever before. Access all your inflight essentials with convenient stowage. There's mood lighting to enhance your flying experience and when it's time to sleep, simply press a button to turn your seat into a perfectly flat bed for a wonderful night's rest.
The Business Class seat is designed for optimum comfort, with a special lumbar cushion to support your back, an adjustable head-rest with special wings for added privacy and comfort. In addition, the seat on all long haul flights has a 60" pitch that allows you to stretch out and relax in style. The Z-shaped seat is now wider (20.5"), longer (just over 75") and indeed, even more comfortable than ever before! The headrest is adjustable 6 ways and the lumbar support 4 ways. Pillows are now reversible and much larger in size.
In seat entertainment is exceptional - for a start there's our CD audio system, while your personal television features up to 26 channels of non-stop entertainment. On-screen information is available in English, Chinese. Our Business Class offers 10.4" PTVs - the same size as those in First Class. You can enjoy our "Movies on Demand" service that offers 29 movies anytime you like. We also provide you with new noise cancelling headsets to catch all the excitement StudioCX offers.
Dining onboard. For your main meal, you are given a choice of four entrées on long-haul flights, and between two and three on regional flights - selected from a superb range of Asian and Western dishes The meals are served on a low, flat-topped trolley (à la First Class), giving you an inviting eye-level choice of what's on offer.

One of the highlights awaiting every First Class passenger is the superb array of Asian and International cuisine, all freshly prepared in our state-of-the-art galley boasting rice cookers, toasters, steam ovens and fresh coffee-making facilities. Because all dishes are made to order, you can choose what to eat.
There is a lot more to the First Class cabin than an ultra comfortable chair and bed. For a start, there's your very own 10.4" television with noise-cancelling headsets and 'Audio-Video-On-Demand' (AVOD), offering you a choice of over 30 blockbusters and 80 popular short features viewable at any time.
